Meet the Founders
At the heart of Lingua Classica are two passionate individuals committed to helping students achieve language fluency and integrate into German society. Together, they bring a unique blend of teaching expertise and management skills, ensuring that every student receives the highest level of education and support.
Elena Zabelina – Founder & Lead Instructor.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and Literary Studies from Heidelberg University and Master’s degree from Bielefeld University, Elena has over two years of experience teaching German to international students. Her deep understanding of language learning, combined with a passion for helping others, inspired her to create Lingua Classica. Elena’s personalized teaching approach focuses on building real-world communication skills and preparing students for success in Germany, both academically and professionally.
Tanmay Kumar Das – Co-Founder & Manager
Tanmay is the driving force behind the operations at Lingua Classica. As a co-founder, he oversees the management and growth of the school, ensuring a smooth learning experience for all students. His dedication to providing an inclusive and supportive environment helps Lingua Classica thrive, making it a welcoming place for immigrants and expats to learn and grow in their new home.

To enroll, simply fill out our enrollment form where you can choose your preferred batch. After completing the form, you will receive instructions to pay the course fee. Once your payment is confirmed, you can take a free placement test, and your classes will begin at the start of the month.

No. You can select your preferred batch during enrollment, but you will not be directly enrolled into the batch of your choice. We offer a free placement test that may suggest a more suitable batch based on your current language proficiency level and, therefore, will be enrolled accordingly.
These results will not be published publicly and will be handed to and discussed upon with you personally.

All classes start at the beginning of each month, so it’s important to complete your enrollment and payment in time to secure your spot for the upcoming batch.

Each intensive course costs €350 with no VAT. This does not include course books but gives you the access to other course materials and mock exams to prepare you for official language exams like telc.

The placement test is a free assessment test we offer to help determine the best course for your language level. It’s compulsory and we recommend taking the course that the results suggest. This ensures you’re enrolled in the batch that fits your current proficiency.

• Foundations Batch (A1-A2) is a 4-month course.
• Communication Batch (B1) is a 2-month course.
• Fluency Batch (C1) and Mastery Batch (B2) are 3-month courses.
Each batch consists of 3 hours of classes per day, with a total of 20 teaching units per week.

Our classes are kept small, with a maximum of 8 students per batch, ensuring personalized attention and a focused learning environment.

Yes! At the end of each course, we conduct mock exams to help you prepare for official language certification exams, such as telc. These mock tests simulate the real exam environment to ensure you feel confident and ready.

No, students can only enroll in one batch at a time. This allows for focused and immersive learning. If you need to change your batch later, please contact us.

If you miss the enrollment for the current month, you can always sign up for the next month’s batch. We offer new courses at the start of each month, so there will always be a new opportunity to join.

Once you complete the enrollment form, you’ll receive a confirmation email with payment instructions. You can pay securely through the options provided in the email.
As of now, Bank Transfer and In-Person Payment (Apple Pay, Bank Cards, etc.) are what we offer to you but very soon we will be accepting Online Payments as well.
